Welcome to your weekly resident newsletter!

Now more than ever, we are focused on operating in the best interests of our residents and the NEMA community. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and diligently following government and health officials’ recommendations.

With this newsletter, we are hoping to offer useful and light-hearted content to help you manage social distancing and make the best of the current situation that we are all in.

We're here for you!

From all of us at NEMA, we want to immensely thank the selfless medical professionals for their dedication and hard work on the front lines of this fight. We can all do our part and stay home, making it the highest priority to not overwhelm the healthcare system, so that our hospitals can continue to save lives as efficiently as possible. As per that quote that's been circulating online, "the more we stay in quarantine, the less we'll stay in quarantine". We encourage you to reach out to those you may know in the medical field and express your appreciation for them!

"While the current times present challenges and uncertainty, they have given me the opportunity to rediscover my love for playing bass guitar. I have also been revisiting much of what I've learned in college such as sight reading and improvisation. I hope you are taking this time to re-engage in past hobbies and discover new ones too!"

-Nik, Resident Service Coordinator
