Share ways you are making the best of your time spent at home on Instagram and tag #NEMABetterTogether to be featured on our Instagram and in our newsletter. Winner will also receive a $50 UberEats gift card!

This is a cross-city community challenge and we will be sharing content by NEMA residents in Chicago, San Francisco, and Boston. Submissions may include your self-care routines, cleaning and organizing tips, ways you stay connected with your loved ones, tips on how to stay productive, cooking, book recommendations, learning a new skill, exploring new hobbies, and other creative ways you are making this house time work for you!

Home Made Better

NEMA Chicago carries forward the brand’s commitment to art. From the arrival through our front entry through residential corridors and amenity areas, NEMA’s walls and spaces are adorned with pieces by local and renowned artists, often showcasing local inspiration, and always thoughtfully curated to create a bespoke home for our residents.

Thomas Trosch’s oil paintings are luscious and theatrical. There is a humor in the mixture of chance and control; in the way everything always has the good manner to dissolve into a brilliant passage of painterly excess. Japanese Lesson #23 is a vivid and eccentric abstract. Intuitively rendered and lavishly painted, the piece suggests multiple levels of reading. Trosch further invites our collective wink and a nod by incorporating text that he has appropriated from a Japanese to English translation book.
